So you know we have a wonderful grandson who turns one year old tomorrow! We are always looking for fun things and toys for him. So a good friend of mine told me recently that she had Pottery Barn kids chairs all over her grandkids growing up and wanted to get rid of them. I’m happy to take them off your hands! The chairs were named after his first grandchild. There are plenty of seats, and the style is good, but the names are not suitable for our grandchildren. So we gave one of the seats to the child and left the other in our house. I went to Pottery Barn Kid’s website and found a cute, freestanding slide to replace the original. Little did I know, the chair comes in three different sizes. Initially I ordered “my FIRST anywhere slipcover”. When I placed the order I realized my mistake. I immediately called Pottery Barn and spoke with one of their representatives. He is nice and helpful. She canceled my order and talked me through reordering the correct size and monogram. Our seat is known as a “medium” seat. Look! The problem is complicated. And it came two days later! While there are many color and monogram options, I chose a gray dress with white piping and a B monogram that would be perfect for any future Barton child, boy or girl.

When the slip happens, the instructions suggest putting the new look in the dryer with a damp cloth and smoothing out the wrinkles. So I did it. Then I changed the seat.

When the fenders came out of the drawers, my husband put the seats back! This is what you need to know! It’s a little wrinkled, but I’m sure the wrinkles will fall out eventually.

So, FYI, the seat itself retails for $70 and the slip is $50. Because the seat is free, (thanks to our dear friend, Jan) the only price is the slip. It’s $49 plus the cost of the monogram and shipping so the final price is about $77. And the price of this???? Not buying.
