Sliding Wine Rack

Sliding Wine Rack – Our sliding wine drawers designed with our patented peg system make your wine the star of the cellar. The Revel setup orients the bottle on its side, with the entire bottle label facing outwards. This greatly improves your ability to see and access your collection over traditional “clogging” methods. The visual drama of your cellar is maximized by highlighting your wines.

This drawer design also allows you to store multiple vial sizes side by side, from 350mL vials to magnums, and also improves label identification. With our open bottom construction, all drawers above eye level can be fitted with downward facing labels allowing them to be easily seen when viewed from below.

These pull-out drawers also help preserve the long-term value of your collection. You can access any wine in your cellar with one smooth motion… just pull out the drawer and you can instantly see your bottle’s labels without ever touching another bottle. This protects your wine labels from rips, tears or other damage caused by excessive handling, maintaining the pristine provenance and long-term value of your collection.

There are multiple configurations that can be achieved with our unique slider extensions. Revel wine cellars are available in standard or double format. Deep form factors maximize storage capacity without sacrificing accessibility. You can store bottles in a single tier, door-to-door or according to label orientation with our unique sliding drawers.

With horizontal or vertical display orientation, our pull-outs can also be made in double-deep formats for flexible bottle configurations – store bottles in a single tier, door-to-door or according to label orientation, all options work as innovative solutions to typical storage problems.

I had a space in the cabin near my entertainment center that was unused. I decided to make a custom wine rack system for this case.

I decided to use a simple post-based architecture to build the structure, made from 2″ x 3″ spare lumber:

I started at the bottom drawer and worked my way up. Each drawer panel (left, right, front, back) was tailored to where it would fit. This method worked very well, as I ended up with different measurements for each step in height :sweat:

I ended up opting for a front-to-back layout instead of left-to-right to avoid wasting the left-back and right-front by introducing unusable gaps.
