How To Stop Feeling Tired All The Time – Tired. Tired. He was released. Canceled. Toasts. There are many different ways of saying the same thing: that we have limited power.
As humans, we all have a natural circadian rhythm of high and low energy. Although we would like to stay strong, this is not reality. However, many of us struggle every day trying to stay awake.
In our connected, 24/7 society, we expect to always be there when someone needs us – even when we need a break. This culture has forced many of us to sacrifice sleep in order to move more, work more, and do more.
We have become a society of caffeinated zombies trying to get through the day. We’re tired all day, connected late into the night – and frankly, we don’t do as much as we could if we could.
This inactivity was constantly tiring us. We wake up, get out of bed, do work, and then stay up late trying to slow down, only to go out and do it again tomorrow.
What if there is another way? What if we controlled our energy and our expectations so we wouldn’t be tired all the time? What if our health and how we feel took priority over wanting to do more?
I don’t know about you, but I get so much more out of a good night’s sleep and feeling refreshed than if I have to force myself to wake up with a large double espresso latte.
I’ve learned from experience (and I have to keep reminding myself) that trying to squeeze every sentence out of every waking moment just doesn’t make Jack a dull boy. , it also gives you a chance to get tired.
I recently had a stressful month with a death in the family and now I have a cold. My body is screaming for me to slow down, but the old phrase “do more, do more, do more” keeps repeating itself in my head.
I see this in my clients too. Even in the articles I read intensively. By most accounts, at least 3/4 of us have low energy days on a regular basis.
It’s time to get the energy back in all the wrong places. Whether it’s emotional energy from being a power vampire or physical energy from doing a job you shouldn’t be doing (or at least not you).
Below are ways to create more energy and ways to make better use of what you have. Make sure you use feedback from both areas. Increasing your energy will get you there, especially if you’re busy burning things that don’t matter to you.
After overcoming fatigue and adrenal fatigue, I think it’s wise to give you a list of a few warning signs. If you think there may be a medical reason behind your fatigue, I recommend that you consult your doctor. There are many serious medical conditions that can cause fatigue – especially if the fatigue comes on suddenly.

1. Anemia: Fatigue caused by anemia is the result of a lack of red blood cells that carry oxygen from the lungs to the tissues and cells. You may feel weak and short of breath. Anemia can be caused by iron or vitamin deficiency, blood loss, internal bleeding, or chronic disease. Women of childbearing age are particularly at risk of iron deficiency anemia.
2. Thyroid Disease: When your thyroid hormones are out of control, even your daily activities can leave you feeling tired. The thyroid gland produces hormones that control your metabolism. Too much thyroid hormone (hyperthyroidism) and a fast metabolism. It is too weak (hypothyroidism) and metabolism is reduced.
3. Diabetes: More than a million people are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes each year, but many others may not even know they have it. Sugar or glucose is the fuel that keeps your body running. For people with type 2 diabetes who cannot use glucose properly, this is a problem. Without enough energy to keep the body functioning properly, people with diabetes often notice fatigue, says Christopher D. Saudek, MD, professor of medicine and program director at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine’s Clinical Research Center.
4. Depression: Depression is a serious illness that affects our sleep, eating and well-being. Without treatment, symptoms of depression can last for weeks, months, or even years. Common symptoms include loss of energy, changes in sleep and eating patterns, difficulty remembering and concentrating, and feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, and low mood.
5. Rheumatoid Arthritis: An autoimmune disease, RA, occurs when your immune system overreacts and attacks healthy joints. Sometimes RA can cause permanent bone and cartilage damage. Many of the symptoms, including fatigue, lack of energy, loss of appetite and joint pain, are similar to other conditions such as fibromyalgia and lupus.
6. Chronic Fatigue: This condition causes severe fatigue that comes on quickly. People with chronic fatigue syndrome feel too tired to engage in normal activities and tire easily from shortness of breath. Other symptoms include headache, muscle and joint pain, weakness, tender lymph nodes and inability to concentrate. Chronic fatigue syndrome remains a mystery because its cause is unknown, he says
7. Sleep Apnea: A sleep disorder that causes you to wake up tired, no matter how rested you think you are. Sleep apnea is a condition characterized by short pauses in breathing during sleep.
