70 Diy Projects – Maybe it’s on pinterest but lately it’s been ruining my creative juices so I’m trying to stay away

Why did I create it? Because I needed my own place to do gardening and gardening. As I’ve said before, gardening is not my forte, but when I enjoy it and over time I hope to improve. Spending hours on the porch, hunched over, just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Lowe challenged me this month to create something fun + outdoor, so let me show you the process…

2. Once the (6) C-screws are in place, it’s time to attach the (2) pallets. Using heavy-duty 4-inch tape loops, place (2) on the end boards, with the other (2) somewhat evenly spaced in the center.

3. Attach the chain to the C-bolts so that it is just right for the bench to be open 90 degrees. The strap loops won’t allow the tray to open more than 90 degrees, so the chain is essentially unnecessary, but I liked the extra security + the yellow adds a cute pop of color.

), but you can decide if you want it to be higher or lower. I chose 36 inches above the ground. We held it in place and determined where the C-bolts should be placed in the house.

* This is the process I used, but you will have to evaluate your space to best hang the pallets. Don’t blame me for your situation as every vertical surface is different.

5. Once the C-hooks were in place, we added about 6 inches of chain on each side that hooked the C-screws on the house to the C-screw at the top of the pallet.

6. This is all done. The overall project didn’t take long – maybe around 30 minutes. The last piece added were hooks on the sides and back of the vertical spade tray, a small rake, etc.
