I live in a wooded area and need solar power because the power goes out frequently in my area. Renewable energy hasn’t ruled out my house as a solar competitor, but they have put the panels down. The day after the installation was completed, our area was left without electricity. It is very good that there is also light, microwave, etc.

I decided to cancel my contract with REC after they could not give me the details (panel number, design) after being visited by the seller who claimed that we receive special prices and must be signed for the US or no contract is available the next day. It may be true that I was the first in my zip code and it was a discount (but still not lower than other quotes I received), however I think I was correct scammed for solar by a used car.
Renewable Energy is the second company I have talked to about solar panels and I am very pleased with everyone I have worked with. The consultant was knowledgeable and the company did all the research and communication with my electric company and HOA, keeping me in the loop at all times. The process was a little long to wait, but not because of renewable energy, they were patient and professional from start to finish. Even if there is a small problem, they solve the problem within days. I recommend Renewable Energy to all my friends, family and neighbors.

Renewable energy has made this process very easy. I want them very much. They even contacted the HOA and sent all the required information directly. Every member of staff I spoke with was friendly and helpful. I’m glad we decided to go solar and I’m glad we chose them. Our price after promotion and federal tax credits will be $15K!
This year we decided to add solar to our house, so we called Renewable Energy Corp (REC) for an estimate. Their salesperson came to our home and walked us through the process, technology, products and services they offer. After checking the installation of our house and checking the availability of direct sunlight for a day in our place, we gave the guarantee for a 6 square foot system. Then the installation was scheduled and it took two days. REC did all the engineering work, issuing permits, setting up the city inspection, the inspection of the electricity company, which included the installation of a new electricity meter. They connected our WIFI to the solar panel micro-inverter monitoring system and gave us a smartphone app that allows us to track the energy we have collected from the sun, let’s start seeing savings! Everything went very well and quickly completed the project. They supported the application for SREC and provided a closed package that included the State of Maryland grant application (all prepared by REC) and IRS instructions on federal tax credit procedures. It was a complete turnkey project from start to finish and we are very happy that REC did everything for us. The quality of their work is first class and very good. They made us 100% satisfied. I am very satisfied with REC and their staff who guided us through all the work before, during and after the installation, which gives me confidence in them. Overall, it was a great experience

As for the installation, the installers were very knowledgeable and cooperative in answering any questions we asked. The installation process is quick and clean. REC sent a representative to my house, and after a quick inspection of our house, they presented us with several roof options. We have a choice of a simple 12 panel (3 square foot array) or our optional 18 panel (5 square foot array) which is the largest panel this roof can accommodate. follow the city’s rules and regulations. REC has also prepared a meter-net connection application for three electricity companies. The preparations did not stop, the REC also connected to our electrical panel and performed all the field tests that lead to the SolarEdge inverter connection. Remember that every city and power company has different rules and regulations, REC knows what they are. We’ve been notified of all the tax credits and deductions we’re entitled to, along with instructions on how and where to claim them. We have a big electricity bill. We decided to look into solar to reduce our costs. I googled solar system installers and found about 5. Two were like dealing with a used car dealer, very pushy and not very friendly. The last meeting we had was with Rob from the Renewable Energy Corporation. It is very beautiful and non-violent. It provides a smaller system than others. Fewer quality panels means a lower price for the same production. As with any project, there are downsides. The team at Renevable was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had. After signing the contract and before installation, I have some concerns about the system, cold feet. I request to write by email and not just call. I emailed Sherrie, the project manager, she responded quickly and clearly. He was also very quiet. The people who came to our house were quick and kind. The job was done on time and it looked flawless. We are very pleased with the overall appearance of our new solar system. The local inspection was scheduled and went without a hitch.
