Vintage Teak Danish Dining Chairs
We know that these are heritage pieces and as such we have partnered with reliable and trustworthy organizations that offer reasonable rates. All our shipping and delivery services are fully insured and bonded. This is part of a set of six modern Danish style teak chairs that I received from someone who I believe got them at a garage sale.
This is not the original wallpaper. They were professionally redone a long time ago in this cotton fabric and then abused like you wouldn’t believe. This is one of the dirtiest upholstery fabrics I have ever seen!
Fortunately, it is possible to remove all the old stuff down to the frame and replace it with brand new material. It’s Knoll’s Classic Boucle, a wool/nylon blend that looks and feels great. It is a dark brown that they call “Pumpernickel”.
Not only was the canvas dirty, but the teak was actually embedded with food in spots, along with the usual paint scratches – and whoever covered it had also added a coat of lacquer to the wood, probably because it was dry. and someone thought of it. it was necessary. a little shine.

There’s nothing wrong with the lacquer on its own, but it was worn and chipped and prevented my teak oil from absorbing evenly.
Normally I wouldn’t have finished, but since I had already started stuffing them and the weather was cooperative, I collected.
