Next, measure the width of your counter or bar to determine how many stools you’ll need. You want to leave enough space between each bar stool so that you can comfortably sit and stand comfortably without feeling crowded.

A good rule of thumb is to leave at least 6 inches between each chair. If your chairs swivel or have arms, you should leave at least 8 or 10 inches between them.

Pros: It works for a decent price and the frame is sturdier than a $20 metal chair in the store. Cons: Not comfortable. I used it as a temporary work from home office chair for a few weeks.
