Please note that the fire retardant properties of this fabric are not achieved by spraying, it loses its strength over time. The properties of this fabric make it fire resistant, so it remains sustainable throughout its life cycle. This particular fabric – scuba – is similar to spandex. It’s soft, a little stretchy, but not like spandex.
