Must Have Products For Training Your Dog

A puppy socialization class is a great way to prepare your puppy for New York! Each week focuses on a puppy theme (eg chewing, chewing, jumping, etc.) followed by a focus (sight or touch). The rest of the class is gone for the puppy to learn to play and for the owners to understand their dog’s body language and signals. Finally, we numb the sounds and the steering wheels! The puppy socialization class is ideal for puppies between 8 weeks and 18 weeks of age. All puppies must be less than 12 weeks old for first class!

Please note that we require proof of a negative stool sample from your local vet for all visits and RSVPs.

Dog Training Classes Calgary Nw Crowfoot

Mandatory class for all young puppies! In this class, you will learn how to socialize your puppy to become a confident and carefree city dog. We gently and positively introduce your puppy to potentially dangerous things like skateboards, crutches and city noises. They will learn important social skills from other puppies and we will also cover basic obedience and basic puppy topics.

How To Diy Obedience Train Your Dog

The Basic Obedience class is great for dogs of any age who are ready to work on basic commands such as sit, sit, stay, go, come and go off leash. We also work on impulse control and anti-jump exercises. The classroom is full of natural distractions, so even if you already have some of these signs, it’s a great environment to work on increasing the challenge. This class is also a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your dog!

This class is for dogs between the ages of 4 and 9 months who need to learn their basic cues (sit, lie down, stay, go, come) and also have some time! We also cover common topics such as jumping, calling and basic manners.

The Intermediate course is designed for dogs with basic training skills and is ideal for graduates of our Basic Obedience class. The class focuses on improving basic skills and challenging the dogs. Our class includes behavior with increasing distance from distractions, instant memorization away from distractions, college-level “let it go,” advanced (and fun) impulse control exercises, some impressive tricks, and more.

This class is for dogs who have started basic obedience training and aims to improve the dogs listening skills in an environment full of distractions. Impulse control exercises, “Leave it”, “Drop it”, jump on the lead with a “heel” introduction, memorize and stay in the classroom.

Obedience Training Courses

The prerequisite for this class is that your dog understands the commands “sit” and “sit”. Long lead (not expandable type) required for memorization.

Does your dog know his basic signs, but prefers to walk around your living room with only treats in hand? Learn how to target them in real life! Also, learn how to treat them without opening the treat bag first! Great for dogs who have trouble with basic or puppy K or can’t listen outside!

In this 3-week course, you and your dog will learn all the tools needed for successful city walks! We’ll cover the walk with loose carcasses, re-teach the dog how to properly greet itself, and “leave” for a walk for essential bedding/food!

This three week course focuses on helping your dog develop impulse control, especially when it comes to jumping! We will cover exercises and techniques to deal with jumping on people and counters/tables. Our goal will be to teach your dog that jumping will not be rewarded, but there are alternative behaviors that can be rewarded!

The CGC class teaches dogs good behavior and their owners responsibility for dogs. The Canine Good Citizen 10-step test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. Your dog should have firm sit/sit/stay/go commands. This class is ideal for dogs who have completed our basic obedience class.

In this lesson, we will help your dog learn to control his impulses. They will learn to focus on you when they are around other dogs and when they are distracted. Advanced Stays and Leave-it commands will work, as will Place/Mat to help your dog relax. We also teach no jumping and emergency challenges during class.
