We do not allow wood from illegal or high conservation value forest areas or forest areas in social conflict to enter our supply chain. All suppliers must source their wood from a more sustainable source (FSC-certified or recycled wood). Dear Andrew D. I have loved this desk since I sat in front of it in the showroom! It’s not cheap, but the quality is excellent and you pay for the solid wood design. It’s not the largest desk available, but the design still has room for items and storage, as well as legroom underneath. The wood structure is strong where it needs to be and I’m sure it will move without cracking. I assembled it by myself for over 3 hours and then installed the final door the next day. Tip: If using a desktop computer, pair this table with a VESA monitor arm to elevate the display(s) off the tabletop. This makes cleaning very easy as there is no need to clean around the bottom of the monitor.5
