Free Renewable Energy Training Courses – Despite logistical challenges and continued price increases, renewable power capacity additions hit another record in 2021, and biofuel demand is close to recovering to pre-pandemic levels. However, the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation (“Russia”) sent shockwaves through energy and agricultural markets, leading to an unprecedented global energy crisis. In many countries, governments are trying to protect consumers from rising energy prices, reduce dependence on Russian supplies and propose policies to accelerate the transition to clean energy technologies.

Renewable energy has great potential to lower prices and reduce dependence on fossil fuels in the short and long term. While the cost of new solar and wind PV installations has risen, reversing a decade-long downward trend in costs, prices for natural gas, oil and coal have risen faster, making renewable electricity more competitive . However, how quickly renewables can replace fossil fuels depends on some uncertainty and depends on many factors. Can renewable energy overcome this global energy crisis and continue its rapid expansion despite political and macroeconomic challenges? At the same time, biofuel demand growth faces significant obstacles from slower growth in transportation demand and high biofuel prices. Will demand growth recover to historic rates?
