Paris Mfg. Co. Child’s Roll Top Desk And Chair

You are not registered in this auction. You cannot participate in this auction without registration. Q: I have a children’s folding table. I got the table for my 6th birthday, 72 years ago. I am attaching three pictures that I am hoping you can give me an estimate of dollar value and a place to sell the table to if you want.

Answer: What a nice “Remember Who” for posterity. When you were young, you had to be very careful about how you used your rolling table. Does it appear to be in unused condition or has it been repaired? If you want to sell it, it’s a lucky day to get $100 for a table and chairs. Consider passing it down in the family with a cute note written in pencil and tucked away in a drawer for the next generation.

Question: Attached are photographs of a painting done for my father in 1968 by Edgar Miller. The design is 21 inches x 27 inches. Miller was living in Clearwater at the time and befriended my father. My father had this painting framed and 10 years ago when my father passed away this painting became mine.

Also attached are some papers my father saved about Miller. Can you please advise how much the painting is worth and who and where I can sell it?

Wooden Child’s Small Roll Top Desk W/ Chair

Answer: Edgar Miller was born in 1899 in Chicago. There is no information about his death. He was a painter, wood sculptor, stained glass craftsman and muralist. Currently, there is not much interest in his works on the art market. Now is not the time to sell your Miller painting.

Question: I have a print of Beckus’ painting “Binni” called “Flame”. I want to sell it because I don’t have room for it right now. I bought it the same year road pirates started selling their paintings out of the trunk of their cars and the paint was still wet! I lived in Stuart, a town 20 miles south of Fort Pierce, for 25 years. This print has a frame, but the glass is cracked and I need to replace it. Otherwise he is completely healthy. Can I take it to an art studio to have it custom made or do I have to do it myself?
